Food and Wine Classic in Aspen 2010

Tastes and tequila-fueled parties with Thomas Keller, Tom Colicchio and more

The annual Food and Wine Classic in Aspen is sorta like summer camp for celebrity chefs, media and food fans alike—thousands converge on the sleepy Colorado resort town to attend seminars, cooking competitions, grand tastings and plenty of tequila-fueled parties. So think summer camp, with more foie gras torchon and Kabinet than sloppy joes and Tang.

With help from our cool friends at FIJI Water (check out snaps from their photo lounge), we hit town for the weekend to take in the tastes, and tequila-fueled parties, including the opening bash, Wines of Spain barbecue with Jose Andres, and the Food and Wine Best New Chefs gala. We also caught up with some of major celebrity cheffage, including Thomas Keller, Tom Collichio, Art Smith, Roy Choi and Gail Simmons.
